XUL reference
(last updated 16.8.2000; tested with Mozilla milestone 17 on W2000, Linux)
Display-bugs warning:
1. pages sometimes are not displayed (workaround - change the size of the window [I do it programmaticaly, but propably not for all cases])
2. tree (in the left panel) is displayed strangely, on Linux M17 (i686-pc) probably never (workaround - close and reopen left panel with tree)
Launch the reference (works in Mozilla only)
Main features
- For every example you can see source XUL document, relevant CSS file and real XUL output
- Names of elements in reference pages and examples are clickable
- Searching in elements list for quick access
Issues
- Attributes are not indexed yet
- Searching works only for complete names
- Sometimes not everything gets displayed (I've landed some workarounds for it, but...)
- And finally - sometimes it works a little bit strangely ^_^ Feel free to mail me any bugs or recommendation.
Help
- F2 - focus textarea for searching in the tree (there may be collisions with your settings)
- Button "View tabs/boxes" changes view for examples from "all-in-one" to "everyone-self" and back. I hope it could be very handy sometimes.
- Examples are scrollable through (= you can view the last one after the first one).
- Tree for "XUL attributes" is not implemented yet.
