Welcome to Zvon, a site trying to simplify access to all sort of information. See the About pages (accessible via the right column) for more information.
The original Zvon website went on-line in 1999 and Zvon became one of the first Internet sites devoted to XML technologies and judged by the number of visitors and citations in books (see Google Books search) a rather successful one. After several years in limbo I have started to rebuild the site from the scratch.
The rebuild took a couple of years and produced several unsatisfactory results. The experiments nevertheless provided very valuable experience and laid foundations for the current version whose gestation period ended on the Children's Day (1st June 2010).
As a new born baby there are still many deficiencies, but I believe the site is now more useful than the original one and so its time has come.
