getAttribute (method)

Description:  
Retrieves an attribute value by name.

Parameters:  
DOMString name  -  The name of the attribute to retrieve.

Returns:  
DOMString -  The Attr value as a string, or the empty string if that attribute does not have a specified or default value.

Exceptions:  
none


Example:
Text in the first DIV.
Some text in the second DIV.
Some text and element in the third DIV.
